Guru BEAUTIFUL ALL @ Big Day Out
Living legend Guru Beautiful All, wild and wacky wizard, patron saint of hippies, backpackers, mental patients and jailbirds. Despite repeated electro-shock 'treatments' and beatings in various Australian psyche-wards, mental institutions and prisons, his zany wit and joy at creation remains intact and he continues to inspire, illuminate and bring happiness to the downtrodden. Pictured here, during his repeat performance at Big Day Out, the largest touring music festival in the Southern Hemisphere, he was joined on stage at the Lily Pad by his extended family plus new and old friends stretching back through over 35 years of travels around the world in hippie communes, ashrams, and festivals.

fRenZal rHomb In tAipEi
These images are from the Say Yes to Taiwan concert in Taipei. Just in case no-one knows, Taiwan is an independent country and has been so for a very long time. Unfortunately China is still in denial about this and continues to bully and harrass Taiwan, calling it a "renegade province". To this date, China has not renounced the use of force to retake this progressive island nation. Utmost respect goes to the performers at this event, because simply by participating they're cutting themselves off from the mammoth Chinese commercial music machine. Rare artists and performers with great gutz and almighty balls who value freedom and independence far higher than their own commercial success.

Free Tibet / Beastie Boys Concert Taipei 2003
Greetings,
We've completed sending images of Free Tibet/ Beastie Boys Live in Taipei, following is some brief info on the event.
It was a benefit for the Rato Monastery and presented young people with an introduction to Tibetan Buddhism and its principles of peaceful conflict resolution and immediately followed the first gig of their world tour which began in Japan and will continue in Las Vegas tonight.
In addition to major Asian artists, Grammy award winning Nawang Khechog enchanted the crowd and main speakers were Geshe Nicholas Vreeland of Rato Monastery, Caijia a.k.a. Tsegyam (the Chairman of Religious Foundation of Dalai Lama) and Bi-khim Hsiao (the General Secretary of Taiwan Tibet Exchange Foundation).
The images are for free usage by The Free Tibet Foundation and Milarepa Fund only.
If you require access to the original slides or require higher resolution JPEGS, please contact us ASAP.
Cheers Chinas,

WE LOVE YOU DANNY!
Danny Howells took over the sound system at Jakarta's Stadium on January 8th 2005. Seizing control like a teenager in a stolen Lamborgini, he crashed, mashed and smashed about the house for a while then blasted off, taking the crowd for a wild and insane joy ride that lasted over 5 hours.
